Stone Safari is a new video series exploring the animals quietly hiding on Glasgow’s buildings: lions, birds, beasts and curious creatures you might have walked past for years without ever noticing.

Once you start looking up, you’ll see them everywhere.

Each month we’ll release a short film focusing on one stone animal – where it is, why it’s there, and what it tells us about the city’s architecture and imagination – along with a growing Stone Safari map to help you start spotting them for yourself.

This project is about slowing down, noticing details, and seeing Glasgow a little differently.

If you spot a stone animal we haven’t found yet, we’d love to hear about it – email us!
