Joanna Kessel has made these unique Lapel Pins using the same 24ct gold leaf glass mosaic she used to create Glasgow’s Wellspring artwork.  

This lustrous 24ct gold leaf glass mosaic is handcrafted by a team of skilled artisans at Orsoni, in their historic furnace in Venice.  The glass plates are initially fabricated in the large 80x80mm format, as used in the artwork, and are then cut by hand to form the smaller individual tesserae, hence their slightly irregular size and shape.

Each Lapel Pin is equivalent to 1 / 61,248th of the Wellspring mosaic.

Please handle your glass Lapel Pin with care and remove it from clothing when not wearing.
