Western swimmingpool

12 Cranworth Street, Glasgow, G12 8BZ
William Clarke (1809-1889) and George Bell I (1814-1887).
Until 1898, this A-listed private baths had the largest pool in Scotland. Built in a Spanish or Venetian Gothic style, it retains many original features. The rings and trapezes which still hang above the pool are a favourite with visitors. Photo © The Western Baths.
