One of Glasgow’s foremost artists, Avril Paton, makes the city and its citizens the principle focus of her work. She is best known for her painting ‘Windows in the West’ which is one of Scotland’s favourite paintings, and its evocative scene of a winter’s evening in a tenement on Saltoun Street continues to delight visitors to Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum.
Join us at our office on Bell Street or online to hear Avril discuss her life and work, and find out how she captures in paint the historic buildings and places of the Dear Green Place.
