CPD: Adapting Traditional Buildings for Climate Change

Tuesday 20th June 2017 | 12-1pm | 54 Bell Street, Glasgow

Scotland’s climate has changed over the previous 50 years with a recorded increase in severe weather events and precipitation. Traditional Buildings will need to be maintained and repaired to meet the new challenges that such adverse weather presents.

Roger Curtis, technical research manager at Historic Environment Scotland will lead this CPD looking at solutions to the issues and concerns facing our historic buildings as we anticipate further climate change. Roger recently authored the new HES short guide on climate change adaption for traditional buildings.

£10 per person, including lunch. £6 for students, bring your own lunch.
