Schools Projects

Every year, Glasgow City Heritage Trust work with pupils from schools across the city on heritage projects exploring the fantastic architecture in Glasgow.  Our topics, since we started in 2008, have been: Looking Up, Old/New Glasgow, Victorian Glasgow and Art Nouveau & Natural Forms.  Schools we have worked with include:

  • St Mungo’s Academy
  • Hyndland Secondary
  • St Aloysius College
  • Shawlands Academy
  • Lourdes Secondary
  • St Margaret Mary’s Secondary
  • Springburn Academy
  • Cleveden Secondary
  • Bellahouston Academy
  • Drumchapel High
  • Notre Dame High
  • Whitehill Secondary
  • Lochend Community High
  • Smithycroft Secondary
  • All Saints Secondary
  • St Thomas Aquinas

A selection of the pupils photographs taken as part of these projects can be seen on the right. Get in touch if you are a teacher and would like your school to get involved.
